This website and book design were part of a cohesive pitch I made to Cranbrook Academy of Art’s administration to represent the class of 2023. The school found itself facing a new problem: how can we transition the graduate yearbook to a web space? For this project, I created a design system that would provide a cohesive identity for the school in both physical and digital formats. Referencing the school’s modernist buildings, I used construction blocks to emphasize both the campus’s architecture as well as the builder’s spirit of the eleven creative departments of the academy. In the end, I provided the administration with mockups of the yearbook, website, as well as URL bookmarks linking the physical and digital formats.
